Between Us

What a wonderful site! I wish there was a support space when I was on my journey so many years ago. I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on May 8, 1979. I was 26 years old and was married 7 months. Positive attitude is primary!!

I was the first of my friends to get cancer, and I have sinking dread that so many more of them will face it too in the coming years.

I thought I would go on a rigid health kick afterwards, and I kind of like that I still eat so many chicken wings and drink Diet Coke.

I feel like I can't relate to people's "normal" problems anymore
